Method B is confined to materials with or approaching Newtonian flow characteristics and is intended for measuring the viscosity of adhesives in the range of 0.05 Pa. Only adhesives that can provide 50 mL in a constant, unbroken stream from one of the cups made of brass, bronze, or other metals are eligible for Method A.
